Job summary

Jet Linx seeks a Second in Command (SIC) for our Washington, DC base. The SIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and supports safe, efficient operations under Part 91 and 135. Requires relocation or residence near the base and ability to meet 2-hour call-out requirements.

Minimums include 1500 hours total time, 500 hours PIC, 500 hours multi-engine, 100 turbine hours, 150 instrument hours, and a current 1st Class medical. Excellent communication and decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• Total Time, PIC, multi-engine, turbine and instrument hour requirements as listed in the job posting
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• Flight operations knowledge and CFR compliance expected

Responsibilities

• Manage duty, flight, and rest times to CFRs and company policy
• Coordinate standby duties, trip notifications, position calls, and pre-/post-flight reports
• Maintain and manage EFB hardware and applications
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current
• Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate
• Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making and Jet Linx core values in all interactions
• Relocate or live within base area within 2-hour call-out time
