Job summary

Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) for our Citation XLS+ fleet based in Washington, DC. The SIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and ensures safe and efficient operation of company aircraft under Part 91 and 135 rules.

Required: 1500 total hours, 500 PIC hours, 500 multi-engine, 100 turbine, 150 instrument; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Travel and irregular hours are expected. Competitive compensation with benefits and relocation considerations.

Qualifications

• Total flight time must be at least 1500 hours.
• PIC time must total at least 500 hours.
• Multi-engine time at least 500 hours.
• Turbine time at least 100 hours.
• Instrument time at least 150 hours.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Base Chief Pilot as Second in Command.
• Help prepare and ensure safe operation of company aircraft.
• Manage duty, flight, and rest times to CFRs and company rules.
• Maintain communication with the company for duty and trip notifications.
• Maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and manuals are current.
• Prepare and submit pre- and post-flight reports.
