Job summary

Independence Village Grand Ledge is seeking a dedicated Shuttle Driver to transport senior residents safely and courteously from 1pm-4pm on every other Friday and 9am-12:30pm on Sundays, at 4775 Village Dr, Grand Ledge, MI 48837. The role pays $17 per hour and requires a Chauffeur's license with a clean driving record.

Candidates should have 3 years of shuttle driving experience, compassion for seniors, and a flexible schedule. Benefits include Wages on Demand with daily pay option.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving a shuttle, bus, or similar vehicle.
• Chauffeur's License with clean driving record.
• Compassionate care for seniors with a positive attitude.
• Timely, patient, and able to maintain a bus schedule; familiar with the local area.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work with residents respectfully and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents getting on and off the bus, using the safest mode of assistance.
• Completes bus trip log and route prior planning for efficiency.
• Maintains the interior and exterior cleanliness of the bus.
• Fills out daily inspection log at trip start and turns it in.
• Maintain a positive attitude to support team performance.
