Job summary

Independence Village of Columbus is seeking a Shuttle Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for our senior residents. You will assist residents on and off the bus, keep logs, and help maintain a clean vehicle while delivering reliable service.

The role requires a chauffeur's license with a clean driving record, at least three years of shuttle driving, the ability to lift 25 pounds, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving a shuttle, bus, or similar vehicle.
• Chauffeur's License; must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents getting on and off the bus, utilizing the appropriate and safest mode for assistance.
• Completes bus trip log; completes required route in a safe and efficient manner; organize and coordinate route priorities.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the bus.
• Fills out daily inspection log at the beginning of each trip and turns in form when completed.
• Maintain a positive attitude which supports team performance and productivity.
