Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a Senior Shopify Full Stack Developer to lead the development of enterprise-grade Shopify solutions and mentor junior developers in a remote, collaborative consulting environment.

You will design and implement scalable Shopify apps, storefront customizations, and integrations with ERP, POS, payments and third-party platforms, while guiding architectural decisions for performance, security, and maintainability across multi-store environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack web development with deep Shopify expertise.
• Proven experience building custom Shopify apps and advanced storefront customizations.
• Strong experience with Shopify APIs, GraphQL, Liquid, React, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience designing scalable architectures for enterprise or high-growth Shopify merchants.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and version control.
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing technical discussions.
• Ability to work independently while leading technical initiatives in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of Shopify-based products, including apps, storefronts, and internal tools.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Shopify solutions using Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, and Shopify APIs.
• Drive architecture decisions focused on scalability, performance, maintainability, and security.
• Design and implement integrations between Shopify and ERP, POS, payment, and third-party platforms.
• Establish engineering best practices for version control, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, testing, and documentation.
• Participate in client discovery sessions and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentoring of junior developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, solution architects, designers, and business stakeholders.
• Maintain technical documentation, reusable development patterns, and architectural standards.
