Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a Remote Light Shopify Developer / IT Specialist to support day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of Shopify-based brands. You will manage apps, configure storefronts, perform light theme changes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a quality shopping experience through QA testing.

Ideal candidates have Shopify store experience, strong English, and the ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced remote environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with Shopify stores is required.
• Experience installing, configuring, and managing Shopify applications.
• Proficiency with Shopify Admin, products, collections, and metafields.
• Proficiency with Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Strong English communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, audit, and troubleshoot third-party Shopify apps.
• Configure products, collections, metafields, navigation, and other storefront settings.
• Perform light theme customization using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify theme and app-related issues.
• Conduct QA testing across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Monitor store functionality and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Assist with Shopify integrations, updates, and ongoing store maintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of technical changes and configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement store improvements.
• Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.
