Job summary

Nikkiso Cryogenic Industries is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk III to support inbound and outbound logistics in a Murrieta-area manufacturing environment. You will receive, verify, document, store, stage, and ship raw materials, components, and finished goods while maintaining ERP accuracy.

This Level III role works independently with limited supervision, handling more complex shipping and receiving tasks and coordinating material priorities with internal departments to keep production

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of progressive shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience.
• Experience working independently in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar handling equipment.
• Working knowledge of ERP/inventory systems and related shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
• Ability to review purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, recordkeeping, and prioritization.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, verify, and document incoming materials, components, assemblies, and purchased goods.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and other documentation for accurate quantities, part numbers, and condition.
• Perform initial visual inspections and identify, research, and resolve routine shipping or receiving discrepancies; escalate quality or material concerns as appropriate.
• Stage incoming materials for Quality inspection, production, inventory, or designated storage locations.
• Pick, verify, package, and stage materials and finished goods according to work orders, customer requirements, and shipping schedules.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and other required records.
• Build or repair pallets, crates, and packaging to properly protect and secure materials and equipment during transportation.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other authorized material-handling equipment.
• Accurately complete shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and material transactions within the company ERP or inventory management system.
• Maintain material traceability and organized shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory reconciliation, and investigation of inventory discrepancies.
• Label, transport, stage, and store materials in designated warehouse, production, and inventory locations.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Quality, Production, and Logistics to communicate material status and prioritize production-critical materials.
• Handle large, heavy, high-value, or sensitive materials using appropriate equipment and handling practices.
• Identify material-flow, inventory, or warehouse issues and support process and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with training and providing guidance to less-experienced Shipping & Receiving employees as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized shipping, receiving, warehouse, and staging areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures, applicable OSHA requirements, and material-handling practices.
