Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk III in Murrieta, CA. You will support inbound/outbound logistics, verify documentation, stage materials, and maintain ERP accuracy.

This role requires independent work with limited supervision and a focus on prioritizing material flow and quality. The position involves operating forklifts, handling heavy materials up to 50 lbs, and coordinating with multiple departments to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse logistics experience.
• Experience working independently in manufacturing/warehouse environments.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment.
• Working knowledge of ERP/inventory management systems and related transactions.
• Ability to review purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading.
• Ability to identify and resolve routine shipping, receiving, documentation, and inventory discrepancies.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, recordkeeping, and prioritization; effective teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, verify, and document incoming materials, components, assemblies, and purchased goods.
• Verify shipments against POs, packing slips, BOLs, and documentation for accuracy.
• Perform visual inspections and resolve routine shipping discrepancies; escalate as needed.
• Stage incoming materials for inspection, production, inventory, or storage locations.
• Pick, verify, package, and stage materials and finished goods per work orders and schedules.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, labels, packing slips, and bills of lading.
• Build or repair pallets, crates, and packaging for safe transport.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain ERP/inventory transactions and material traceability.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation; investigate discrepancies.
• Label, transport, stage, and store materials across designated locations.
• Communicate material status and priorities with Procurement, Planning, Quality, Production, and Logistics.
