Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 3-4 years of relevant work experience with administrative/organizational skills.
• Experience coordinating shipping, receiving, packing, and storage per regulations.
• Ability to prepare accurate bills of lading, invoices, and related records.

Responsibilities

• Provide work leadership and training to shipping personnel to ensure accurate processing.
• Coordinate identifying, counting and weighing incoming/outgoing products to properly package and store items.
• Lay out daily operations and create work sequences and schedules.
• Schedule and plan release and storage of materials to support production schedules.
• Recommend work schedules and overtime to meet deadlines.
• Provide data for reports, operating costs and results.
• Ensure accurate processing of paperwork including bills of lading, invoices, damaged goods records, and labor time.
• Evaluate progress against schedules and adjust workflows to increase productivity.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain liaison with other departments and provide progress reports.
• Participate in selecting and training shipping staff and assign work efficiently.
• Responsible for safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
