Job summary

Gulf Copper in Galveston, TX, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead newbuilding projects from award to delivery. You will own the project schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction, coordinating with production planning and supply chain to ensure on-time performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering or related field, 5–7 years in shipbuilding or marine projects, and PMP or equivalent scheduling proficiency.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of project or program coordination in shipbuilding or marine environments.
• Experience tracking schedule, cost, and quality for complex newbuilds.
• PMI-PMP or Primavera/MP scheduling proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the project schedule, budget, and delivery from award to vessel delivery.
• Coordinate with NB Production Planning, NB Production, NB Supply Chain, and QA.
• Monitor cost performance and drive corrective actions with PMO leadership.
• Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction across the project.
