Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Program Manager to own the execution and delivery of major shipbuilding programs. The PM will manage large-scale production, and be accountable for cost, schedule, scope, and customer outcomes from contract award through delivery and sustainment.

The PM will lead a cross-functional team across Production, Engineering, and Quality, while engaging government stakeholders and ensuring disciplined configuration management in a complex maritime environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related technical field.
• 9+ years of program management experience in large-scale production or defense.
• Experience managing government or defense customers, contracts, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of a commercial and/or Government shipbuilding program, with accountability for cost, schedule, scope and quality.
• Lead the customer contract, deliverables, milestones, CDRLs, and contractual obligations.
• Build and maintain the integrated program plan aligning production, milestones, and integration timelines.
• Drive risk and opportunity management across the program and escalate issues threats to cost or schedule.
• Report program health, forecasts, and decisions to leadership and customer stakeholders.
• Coordinate with production to plan large Ship rate production from procurement through hull construction and delivery.
• Balance standardization with mission-driven variance to protect throughput and flexibility.
• Engage with customers and government stakeholders, translating needs into actionable program direction.
