• Troubleshoot and repair complex shipboard electronic systems and equipment.
• Isolate malfunctions and perform circuit and signal-flow analysis.
• Install, maintain, repair, and overhaul shipboard electronics.
• Incorporate engineering changes and modifications.
• Use high-frequency test equipment and related gear.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians as needed.

Required Experience

• Surface ship experience
• Hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation, and deinstallation of shipboard electronic systems and equipment
• Experience working with antennas, cables, cableways, waveguides, and ducts
• Experience using logic analyzers, digital oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electronic test equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
