Job summary

Senesco Marine LLC seeks a Structure & Outfitting Lead to guide the design and coordination of vessel structural and outfitting systems across multiple projects. You will lead a team of designers and ensure all deliverables meet project requirements, regulatory standards, and production needs.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, production, purchasing, and project management to ensure designs are accurate, buildable, and delivered on time, supporting efficient vessel construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of experience in ship design, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hull structure and outfitting systems.
• Experience leading and mentoring design teams.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, ShipConstructor, and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of maritime regulatory and classification rules (ABS, USCG, etc.).
• Experience developing and reviewing 2D/3D design drawings and production packages.
• Strong understanding of shipyard fabrication methods and constructability requirements.
• Ability to coordinate across departments including production, purchasing, and project management.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
