Job summary
SkyWater Technology is seeking a Shift Supervisor - Maintenance to lead maintenance operations in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment in Texas. You will oversee shift execution, safety compliance, tool performance oversight and achieving production targets while maintaining world-class quality.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience and 2+ years in a leadership role.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiar with tool control strategies including FDC and feed-back/feed-forward control.
- Experience in high-volume 200mm or 300mm fab environments.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom and support the assigned shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians during assigned shift.
- Work with operations to reach daily production targets including throughput, WIP management, and cycle time.
- Ensure smooth shift handoff communication.
- Respond to equipment excursions and coordinate with engineering and operations teams.
- Escalate issues to minimize downtime and yield impact.
- Monitor uptime metrics and support troubleshooting of tool problems with operations and engineering.
- Ensure procedural compliance and process control adherence.
