Job summary

RFDS SA/NT is seeking a Senior Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor — Systems and Assurance to strengthen the integrated SHEQ framework across South Australia and the Northern Territory. You will drive governance, assurance activities and system improvements to ensure safe, compliant and high-performing operations.

You will lead the implementation and enhancement of SHEQ systems, manage audits and corrective actions, and develop governance documentation with strong reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and improving SHEQ systems across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, auditing, governance and corrective actions.
• Policy/procedure development and document control expertise.
• Analytical, reporting and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of integrated SHEQ systems and processes.
• Manage audits, assurance programs and corrective action frameworks.
• Develop policies, procedures and governance documentation; provide reporting and dashboards.
• Coach and mentor team members; partner with operations to drive consistent SHEQ practices.
