Job summary

INEOS Oxide in League City, TX seeks a Safety Engineer and Industrial Hygienist to lead site safety and health programs. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, worker protection, and incident investigations across all operations.

The successful candidate will drive IH monitoring, PHAs, and emergency preparedness, while coordinating with ERT, contractors, and management to maintain SHE excellence. Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in petrochemical safety are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related field.
• Experience in petrochemical safety and health programs preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain site safety and health programs, including IH monitoring.
• Lead emergency preparedness and response activities, including ERT coordination.
• Support PSM, PHAs, and incident investigations with data and analysis.
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and turnover activities for safety compliance.
• Oversee contractor safety and training, including pre-job reviews and permits.
• Drive continuous improvement of SHE performance metrics across the site.
