Job summary

Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies business seeks an EHS professional to lead SHE programs across Houston facilities. You will investigate incidents, assess risk, and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field and 3+ years of EHS experience, plus knowledge of OSHA regulations and CAPA processes. Certifications are preferred and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS/SHE) management experience in industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State OSHA regulations and practical application in the workplace.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, investigations, audits and CAPA.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHMM, CIH preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the implementation of SHE management systems and programs across designated facilities in the Houston Area.
  • Lead safety, health, and environmental investigations, identify risks, and coordinate corrective actions to reduce injuries and environmental impacts.
  • Conduct SHE inspections, audits, and compliance assessments; identify gaps and drive timely corrective actions.
  • Prepare SHE reports, recommendations, and compliance documentation with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and deliver SHE training, procedures, and communications translating regulations into practices.

What you´ll do
  • Lead & support the implementation of Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) management systems and programs to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with Henkel standards across designated facilities in the Houston Area.
  • Lead safety, health, and environmental investigations by identifying risks, recommending engineering and process improvement solutions, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions to reduce workplace injuries, illnesses, and environmental impacts across diverse operational environments.
  • Conduct SHE inspections, audits, and compliance assessments; identify gaps, communicate findings, and partner with site leadership to drive timely corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Independently prepare SHE reports, recommendations, and compliance documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support site-wide goals.
  • Develop and deliver SHE training, procedures, and communications that translate regulatory and company requirements into effective workplace practices.
What makes you a good fit
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS/SHE) management, preferably in a chemical, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state OSHA regulations and their practical application in the workplace.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, investigations, audits, and developing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Professional certification such as CSP, ASP, CHMM, CIH, or equivalent is preferred.

The salary range for this role is $90,000.00 to $100,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
