Job summary

HarmonyTech is seeking a Microsoft Certified Solutions Senior SharePoint Developer to lead design, development, support and modernization of our Enterprise SharePoint environment for a federal modernization program. The role is remote and requires U.S.

citizenship. As technical lead, you will guide SPFx components, Power Platform integrations, and governance, while ensuring accessibility and 508 compliance across the solution.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of professional software development, including five or more years on the SharePoint platform.
• Demonstrated delivery of production SPFx web parts or extensions in a governed enterprise or Federal environment.
• Experience leading a small development team or work stream, including code review and technical mentoring.
• SharePoint Framework (SPFx), TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), React, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, Node.js and Gulp build tooling.
• SharePoint REST API, Microsoft Graph API, PnPjs, PnP PowerShell; SharePoint Online site design, site scripts, content types and columns.
• Power Platform development: Power Apps (canvas and model‑driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Platform ALM.
• Source control and CI/CD with Git and Azure DevOps or GitHub; automated testing and static analysis.
• Responsive and mobile‑first design for SharePoint Online.
• Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA implementation, including remediation of existing components.
• Migration and modernization of classic SharePoint pages, workflows and legacy customizations to supported modern patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modernize SharePoint components and pages.
• Lead solution architecture and enforce coding standards.
• Ensure WCAG 2.0 and Section 508 compliance across the solution.
• Package solutions with source control, versioning and repeatable deployment.
• Maintain application lifecycle management pipelines for SPFx and Power Platform solutions.
• Assist in operations and support, including incident resolution and performance monitoring.
