Job summary

Diné Development Corporation seeks a Senior Software Developer, Applications/Project Manager to lead SharePoint and Microsoft 365 modernization for government contracts. The role emphasizes technical leadership, contract oversight, and agile execution with cross-functional teams.

You will coordinate with government stakeholders, manage staffing, QA, risk, and schedule commitments while ensuring security and compliance across the SDLC. Strong communication and governance are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years of progressively responsible experience in software application development, systems analysis, and technical leadership.
Experience leading SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions.
Experience with Agile project management and Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Ability to obtain Government suitability/public trust clearance.
Excellent written and verbal communication with Government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide overall project management, technical leadership, and contract oversight.
Lead Agile planning activities, sprint execution, backlog management, and status reporting.
Manage SharePoint administration, configuration management, release management, and software deployments.
Lead design, development, testing, and maintenance of SharePoint-based applications using HTML, JavaScript, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Translate business requirements into technical designs, application architecture, and implementation plans.
Oversee SDLC activities including requirements analysis, design reviews, unit testing, UAT, and production deployment.
Ensure traceability between requirements, system design, development tasks, testing, and releases.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, system documentation, user guides, and configuration docs.
Coordinate defect management, change requests, bug fixes, and enhancements while minimizing disruption.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain contract performance.
Monitor performance metrics and customer satisfaction while ensuring contract compliance.
Mentor development staff and promote best practices and coding standards.
