Job summary

S3, Inc. is recruiting a Software Developer for the corporate IT team at its Huntsville, AL HQ. The role designs and builds SharePoint applications, interfaces, and dashboards while delivering data-driven solutions across OO web platforms.

You will develop user interfaces for databases, coordinate with web developers, and provide maintenance, upgrades, and technical documentation. This is a non-teleworking position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years related experience or Master’s with 5 years
• 3+ years SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server (2016/2019)
• On a scale of 1–5, level 3+ Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) to design workflows
• At least 3 years SPFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rest APIs and CSOM with governance
• 2 years experience designing data schemas and metadata strategies
• 3 years integrating SharePoint with SQL/Excel/third-party systems; SQL and C#
• Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies
• US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy custom SharePoint applications to manage data
• Create custom lists, libraries, workflows, forms and dashboards (Power BI/Excel)
• Integrate SharePoint with external data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs)
• Implement role-based access controls, versioning and audit trails for compliance
• Automate business processes using Power Automate or SharePoint Designer workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver user-friendly solutions
• Maintain and enhance existing SharePoint solutions for performance, scalability and security
• Develop and maintain Power BI data models, semantic models and DAX measures
• Use Power Query, SQL and related tools to prepare data for analysis and reporting
