Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Sr. Principal SharePoint Engineer to support Government activities in Annapolis Junction, MD or Sterling, VA. You will engineer solutions that integrate SharePoint services with load balancing systems and provide a roadmap for future infrastructure.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility and 8+ years of related experience, plus DoD 8570 IAT II level qualifications. A bachelor’s in a technical field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or equivalent requirement.
• Experience increasing SharePoint indexing and external sourcing.
• Experience managing SharePoint Online and on-premises infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Designs and defines system architecture and design documentation for new or existing computer systems.
• Analyzes requirements and high-level architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Leads design and development activities and provides technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Guides system development and implementation planning through SE management plans and test plans.
• Interacts with Government regarding SE considerations and issues.
