Job summary

SAIC has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Systems Engineer to support a high-priority customer program with national security significance. The role requires active TS/SCI with Poly clearance and extensive systems engineering experience to review vendor deliverables, write requirements, and support release testing.

You will work independently yet collaborate with teammates, demonstrate attention to detail, and adapt to evolving mission needs.

Qualifications

Must already hold a TS/SCI and Poly in order to be considered.
9 years of Systems Engineering/SETA experience
Ability to review and provide technical feedback on vendor deliverables and products such as PDRs, CDRs, user guides, derived requirements, and test documents
Ability to write requirements to support new releases or upgrades for vendor products, mostly for software products
Ability to support release testing as a representative of the customer to ensure new releases meet their design objectives
Ability to support activities related to the customer's governance and approval process to facilitate new product releases
Ability to travel periodically to domestic locations to support program technical meetings and testing activities
Ability to capture notes from technical meetings to communicate actions and outcomes
Ability to quickly learn the technical nuances of the customer's program to support exchanges with mission partners and the development of inputs to support operations
