Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Ground Systems Software Integration Engineer in El Segundo, CA with a strong background in systems engineering and SETA support. The role focuses on integration, testing, and acceptance across multiple sites for a space-related program, including governance of requirements and interfaces.

Responsibilities include design reviews, testing oversight, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of ground system hardware and software, to ensure program success and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with nine+ years experience (or higher with advanced degree).
• Experience managing hardware/software integration and factory testing.

Responsibilities

• Support software procurement from requirements through system test, sell-off, delivery and installation at multiple sites.
• Provide SEIT expertise for requirements development, design, test plans and verifications.
• Review ground system specifications and interface documents for accuracy.
• Coordinate across geographically diverse sites for delivery and acceptance testing.
• Witness ground systems testing and correlate post-test data to verify requirements.
