Job summary

SAIC in Sterling, VA seeks a Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) to provide direct customer support on a critical development effort. You will translate system-level requirements into ICDs, manage the IMS, and coordinate with multiple vendors to keep the program on schedule.

Responsibilities include leading the Interface Working Group, maintaining program documentation in Confluence, and developing system requirements with SMEs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading vendor coordination, interface control, and IMS scheduling.
• Proficiency with MS Project and change-control processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate system-level requirements into ICDs and ensure conformance.
• Serve as program point of contact for vendor inquiries and changes.
• Maintain the IMS and schedule with vendor milestones.
• Maintain Confluence repository with version control and access.
• Chair the Interface Working Group and manage vendor participation.
• Develop system requirements with SMEs and stakeholders.
• Translate CONOPS into technical requirements for vendors.
• Review designs across all phases against architecture.
• Support verification/validation test plans and reviews.
• Provide status reports and risk assessments.
