Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Subject Matter Expert to lead mixing, coating, drying, converting and packaging equipment in Newark-area operations. You will support development and manufacturing by setting up, maintaining and qualifying equipment for pilot, exhibit, validation and commercial batches.

You will train Operations staff on equipment procedures, batch execution and change controls, and drive process improvements in line with GMP.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED (Required).
• Experience: 12+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Specialized knowledge of listed equipment and packaging processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain mixers, coaters, rotary converting equipment, packaging equipment, and cartoning equipment.
• Manufacture pilot, exhibit, validation, and commercial batches.
• Train operations team on equipment operation, procedures, and batch execution; implement GMP-based improvements.
