Job summary

The Sampson County Government is seeking a Senior Center Manager to lead the Senior Center team and drive programs that improve the well-being of older residents. You will supervise the Senior Center Assistant and volunteers, coordinate internal and external activities, and promote community engagement.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and a valid NC driver's license, with experience in public service or community program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Driver's license valid in the State of North Carolina is required.
• Experience in senior services or community programs preferred.

SALARY: $39,648.00 plus benefits package

Are you a passionate team leader looking to help improve the lives of others? The Sampson County Senior Services department is looking for a dedicated individual to provide program support and assistance to senior citizens in our community as our next Senior Center Manager.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement programs to train and lead a dynamic team comprised of the Senior Center Assistant and Senior Center volunteers
• Coordinate activities with programs inside and outside the Senior Center
• Promote public awareness of activities and programs that help address community needs
• Participate in various committees to contribute to agency and program development
• Develop goals and objectives essential to the functions of the Senior Center
