Role Summary

The Services Engagement Director in Professional Services is responsible for driving revenue within assigned accounts while building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This highly visible individual contributor role requires understanding customer needs, challenges, and business outcomes, and providing tailored Genesys solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams throughout the customer buying cycle to ensure optimal solution delivery aligning with customer goals.

Location

Remote within East-coast US.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop strategic business plans to cultivate opportunities and generate revenue within designated regions or accounts.
  2. Create persuasive content to engage customers effectively.
  3. Understand and articulate the value proposition of Genesys solutions based on customer challenges and desired outcomes.
  4. Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual financial targets.
  5. Coordinate with other functions during the customer buying cycle, from initial contact through retention and growth phases.
  6. Maintain current knowledge of market conditions and customer strategies to negotiate and close deals.
  7. Ensure complete customer satisfaction and retention.
  8. Build and sustain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  9. Oversee timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.
  10. Keep customers informed about the latest Genesys offerings.
Required Experience
  • Proven sales success within SaaS organizations, preferably on the capability offerings side (customer management ecosystem vs. pre-sales).
  • Experience managing on-premises to cloud transitions to increase revenue and market share.
  • Background in CCaaS or CX industry.
  • 5-7+ years of sales experience in cloud or SaaS-based software within a customer-centric organization.
  • Understanding of or experience with Professional Services is preferred.
  • Strong account planning, management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proven capability to grow pipelines within existing accounts and acquire new clients.
  • Experience leading complex sales cycles with a track record of revenue attainment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Compensation & Benefits
