Ronald Gardenswartz JCC of Greater Albuquerque is seeking a Social Services Manager to oversee the Jewish Care Programs. The role focuses on outreach, assessment, and support for isolated and vulnerable Jewish older adults, with a mission grounded in Chesed and Tikun Olam.

Responsibilities include coordinating volunteers, developing support groups, maintaining records, and partnering with community organizations to expand services; travel within the service area is required.

Competenze

• Minimum five years of professional experience in social services or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Human Services required.
• Master's degree in Social Work strongly preferred; candidates with master's degree and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of five-year experience.
• Experience with case management, care coordination, advocacy, and resource navigation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Willingness to travel throughout the service area to conduct home visits and attend community meetings.

• Deliver information, resource navigation, and referrals to appropriate community services, benefits, and support programs.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and recognize volunteers who support social service programs and client engagement initiatives.
• Develop, facilitate, and evaluate support groups that address the social, emotional, and practical needs of participants.
• Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate social service projects and community initiatives, ensuring effective program delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
• Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and program reports in accordance with organizational policies and confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with community agencies, healthcare providers, synagogues, and other stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and expand services.
• Participate in department meetings, professional development opportunities, and organizational events to support the mission of the JCC.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
