HRUCKUS is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer for an onsite assignment in Saint Louis, MO. This hands-on role focuses on a greenfield ServiceNow implementation and automation integrations with infrastructure tools.

You will design, develop, test, and support ServiceNow integrations, promote out-of-the-box capabilities, reduce technical debt, and partner with the platform team to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Senior-level enterprise ServiceNow development experience.
Strong hands-on ServiceNow server-side and client-side development.
ServiceNow scripting and workflow configuration experience.
Strong experience developing and maintaining integrations using REST APIs, web services, webhooks.
Experience evaluating customized ServiceNow solutions and reducing technical debt.
Experience adapting integrations when ServiceNow data models, fields, or platform requirements change.
Experience evaluating customized solutions toward out-of-the-box capabilities.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices.
Source control, testing, release management, and production support experience.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Provide senior-level ServiceNow development for a greenfield implementation.
Design solutions that maximize out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities and minimize unnecessary customization.
Review and modernize existing workflows, scripts, field mappings, and integrations.
Develop, test, deploy, and support ServiceNow integrations.
Update integrations as ServiceNow fields, data models, and workflows change.
Support automation involving change tickets, incidents, service requests, and related ITSM records.
Modify associated Ansible automation as ServiceNow requirements change.
Partner with the centralized ServiceNow platform team while independently owning development deliverables.
Troubleshoot complex ServiceNow workflow, scripting, integration, and automation issues.
Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve platform maintainability.
Participate in code reviews, testing, releases, and platform readiness activities.
Develop technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.
Establish reusable development patterns and ServiceNow best practices.

HRUCKUS is looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer to support a major greenfield ServiceNow implementation and modernization of existing ServiceNow development and infrastructure automation workflows.

Position Description:

This is a hands-on development role focused on building and supporting integrations between ServiceNow and infrastructure automation solutions. The environment is moving toward greater use of out-of-the-box ServiceNow functionality, reduced customization, lower technical debt, and a platform foundation capable of supporting future ServiceNow AI capabilities.
