Job summary

Sunrise Systems in Newark, NJ is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Leader to design, develop, and administer the ServiceNow platform for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate blends deep technical expertise with ITIL best practices to align technology with business goals, optimize assets, and deliver a seamless user experience across the organization.

Qualifications

4+ years hands-on ServiceNow administration and development.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow Studio.
Experience with REST/SOAP integrations.
Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Platform Administration: Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, Service Catalog, Knowledge).
Custom Development: Design, script, and implement new apps, workflows, and integrations.
System Integrations: Develop and maintain API-based integrations with other systems.
Process Optimization: Refine workflows and automate processes to improve service delivery.
Security & Compliance: Implement RBAC, monitor performance, ensure security policies.
Upgrades & Maintenance: Plan and execute upgrades/patching with minimal disruption.
Documentation & Training: Produce technical/user docs; train users and admins.
