Job summary

Applied Network Solutions, Inc. seeks a Sr. Software Engineer (ServiceNow) to join our Chantilly, VA team. You will lead ServiceNow deployments, integrations with Cisco NSO, and RMF/A&A activities, guiding the SDLC from design to production.

This role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 16 years of related experience or equivalent education, and advanced ServiceNow certifications. You’ll mentor teammates, drive automation with Ansible, Python, and Terraform, and ensure robust, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 16 years of experience demonstrated via work history and/or education (e.g., doctorate+8y, master's+10y, bachelor's+12y).
• At least 5 years of ServiceNow experience; must have ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and at least one other advanced ServiceNow cert.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment and integration of the ServiceNow suite on RHEL and Windows.
• Lead Agile, Scrum, and SDLC-driven projects with strong team collaboration.
• Develop and implement automation/ orchestration with Ansible, Python, Terraform, and PowerShell.
• Ensure RMF A&A compliance and DoD 8140.03 IAT 2 controls.
