Job summary

ICF is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support a public health agency's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This role requires experience with federal programs and the ability to support large and small teams to reach client goals.

You will Architect and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, and custom apps, oversee platform administration, and ensure security compliance for government workloads.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile delivery: Support sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, solution discussions, and other Agile or SAFe ceremonies.
• Provide technical oversight: Conduct code reviews, guide development standards, and ensure implementation patterns are maintainable and aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge sharing: Create architecture diagrams, configuration specifications, workflow designs, data models, integration approaches, implementation guidance, and knowledge‑sharing materials.
• Support security and compliance: Ensure configurations and customizations align with federal security, compliance, accessibility, and operational requirements.
• Grow the ServiceNow practice: Contribute subject matter expertise to proposals, solutioning, technical demonstrations, communities of practice, and reusable delivery assets.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, platform administration, workflows, integrations, data models, and security controls.
• Experience with Service Portal/Employee Center
• Experience designing or supporting ServiceNow integrations with third‑party systems and enterprise platforms.
• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, or Certified Technical Architect.
• Experience with Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps‑aligned teams, technical documentation, testing support, and production troubleshooting.
• Experience with Now Assist, Generative AI, Agentic AI, virtual agents, intelligent automation, predictive insights, or other AI‑enabled ServiceNow capabilities.
• Experience supporting U.S. federal government programs or federal clients.
