Job summary
DMI, LLC seeks a Senior ServiceNow Developer to build and maintain platform capabilities for the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms. The role encompasses configuration, advanced development, and integrations across enterprise systems, plus mobile support and performance troubleshooting.
You will produce technical designs, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure readiness through testing and documentation. The position is hybrid in Washington, DC, with on-site work and occasional after-hours
Qualifications
- Advanced ServiceNow development across configuration, scripting, workflow, and app development.
- Experience building and supporting integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs, web services, and IntegrationHub.
- Experience designing, configuring, or developing ServiceNow mobile apps and user experiences.
- Performance troubleshooting and root cause analysis on the ServiceNow platform.
- Work within established development standards, source control, and a controlled promotion process.
- Produce technical documentation acceptable to a Government customer.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to complete background investigation requirements and meet security reporting needs.
- Designation as Key Personnel with customer notification if substitution is needed.
- Deliverables are subject to Government review and COR acceptance.

DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to build and maintain platform capability for the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms (SAA).
This is the deepest technical role on the program. It covers configuration and application development, integrations with other enterprise systems, mobile capability, performance troubleshooting, and the technical documentation the customer will depend on after transition. Work is delivered iteratively against a customer-approved backlog, with every release passing testing, readiness review, and formal acceptance before production.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Platform Development and Configuration
- Provide advanced technical knowledge managing, configuring, developing, and implementing the ServiceNow platform.
- Translate application story cards, business requirements, and use cases into functional service requests and workflows within ServiceNow.
- Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities in accordance with established development standards and best practices.
- Deliver against approved acceptance criteria and the customer-approved Definition of Done.
- Integrations
- Design, develop, and support integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems and applications.
- Work hands-on with ServiceNow integration technologies, APIs, web services, IntegrationHub, or other applicable integration methods.
- Design integrations following least-privilege access principles, with appropriate error handling and monitoring.
- Mobile Capability
- Develop and support mobile capabilities and solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow mobile applications and mobile user experiences.
- Troubleshooting and Performance
- Identify application, integration, workflow, and performance bottlenecks or defects.
- Troubleshoot root causes and design and implement appropriate solutions rather than symptomatic fixes.
- Documentation and Collaboration
- Develop and maintain technical and system application documentation, including application configurations, integrations, data flows, interfaces, technical designs, and development procedures.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, architects, cybersecurity personnel, quality assurance resources, and other developers to ensure solutions meet functional, technical, security, integration, and performance requirements.
- Support release readiness reviews and produce release and deployment documentation, including rollback procedures
Education , Certifications and Years of Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree.
- Five or more years of relevant experience.
- ITIL certification.
- ServiceNow certification or demonstrated equivalent platform expertise.
- Completion of ServiceNow integration training or certification.
- Completion of ServiceNow mobile development training or certification.
- Experience with the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Federal or Legislative Branch development experience within a change-controlled environment.
Required Skills:
- Advanced, demonstrated ServiceNow development experience across configuration, scripting, workflow, and application development.
- Demonstrated experience building and supporting integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems, hands-on with APIs, web services, and IntegrationHub or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience designing, configuring, or developing ServiceNow mobile applications and mobile user experiences.
- Demonstrated performance troubleshooting and root cause analysis on the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience working within established development standards, source control, and a controlled promotion process between development and production.
- Ability to produce technical documentation to a standard a Government customer will accept and maintain after transition.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to successfully complete the background investigation required for U.S. Senate facility and system access, and to meet ongoing personnel security reporting requirements. [Confirm investigation level and adjudication timeline.
- This position is designated Key Personnel under the contract. Substitution requires customer notification and approval.
- Deliverables are subject to formal Government review and written Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) acceptance.
Background Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
