Job description

Our client, a global tech leader, is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Application Developer to join their team in New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and developing ServiceNow technology, with a primary focus on building and maintaining their custom automation platform.

Responsibilities

• As the Senior ServiceNow Application Developer, you will design, develop and maintain their unique application on the ServiceNow platform.
• Build and oversee integrations between the main application and other enterprise applications.
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth application deployment and updates.
• Manage version control, code repositories, and release processes using GitHub.
• Use JIRA and PPM tools for project tracking and resource management.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the application.
• Customize and implement the application to meet customer-specific requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
• Adhere to Agile and Scrum methodologies to improve project efficiency.

Skillset

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or similar.
• At least three years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
• Proficiency in GitHub, JIRA, and PPM tools.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript) and workflow design.
• Solid understanding of database engineering, JavaScript data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience developing certified scoped applications is a bonus.
