Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking a Senior Service Technician for our on-site maintenance team in South Bend, IN. The role emphasizes a "Whatever It Takes" mindset to keep apartment communities up to code and to create welcoming homes for residents.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, appliance, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing issues; maintain property standards; and respond to service tickets while coordinating with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Active, valid drivers license is required.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.
• One year of related maintenance experience or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas per company standards and laws.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service tickets.
• Communicate clearly with residents and staff about repairs and updates.

As theSeniorService Technician, you will help to:

• Be responsible fortrouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance withcompany standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regardingrepairs and updates

Compensation & Incentive

• Base Pay: $22.00-$25.00
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• Paid rotating on-call participationrequired
