Job summary

Busch Vacuum Solutions is seeking a Service Technician IV at our Portland, Oregon service center. The role focuses on inspecting, testing, and assembling vacuum equipment, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems and electromechanical troubleshooting.

Candidates should have 4+ years in manufacturing, high school or GED, and proficient English communication. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule and a starting pay range of $24–$28 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Electrical experience with single and three-phase power distribution systems and controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Read, interpret, and apply technical documents.
• Able to safely operate hand and power tools and PPE.
• Proficient in English communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components for cleanliness and prepare surfaces for assembly.
• Train on and use high-level measurement devices to qualify parts.
• Layout parts on layout board for assembly.
• Assist in sub-component assembly as needed.
• Install modules on frame and test pumps and components.
• Troubleshoot and answer technical questions related to vacuum equipment.
