Job summary

Busch Vacuum Solutions in Norristown, PA is seeking a Service Technician 1 to support our vacuum pump remanufacturing operations. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with pay of $18–$20 per hour depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities include cleaning pump components, performing TPM preventive maintenance, operating material handling equipment, assembling crates, and supporting Lean improvements to reduce waste. No visa sponsorship; must be authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Must have strong English communication (oral and written).
• High School diploma required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Clean vacuum pump components using a high-pressure parts washer, bead blaster, sand blaster, or other cleaning equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on shop equipment as part of the TPM program.
• Safely operate material handling equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes.
• Assemble crates and product packaging for shipping pumps and parts.
• Work independently or as a team to fulfill department and Busch goals and objectives.
• Assist with implementing 5S and Lean activities to improve flow and reduce waste.
• Maintain safety policies and report unsafe activities to supervisor.
