Job summary

Motion in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking a Service Technician II to repair, service, and build standard and custom hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems under general supervision.

You may guide less experienced technicians and respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and help drive process improvements. Typical requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of shop experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years of shop experience.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on assigned customer products in the service shop.
• Disassembles, cleans, and inspects components for repair.
• Diagnoses system components and proposes repair solutions.
• Prepares job forms with parts and required work.
• Designs, fabricates, machines, and welds parts as needed.
• Tests repaired equipment and prepares for shipment or storage.
