MUST HAVE REFRIGERATION EXPERIENCE

The Senior Service Technician is responsible for repairing and reconditioning equipment at the Market Center and/or customer locations. Responsibilities include installation, diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and providing customer assistance with questions, problems, or complaints about equipment. This is a senior role; therefore, the technician will also assist others with troubleshooting.

Job Responsibilities

1. Call on customers as assigned to investigate equipment issues.
2. Diagnose problems and determine corrective actions.
3. Make repairs or adjustments to restore equipment to working order.
4. Maintain and clean equipment on location, including exchanging decanters and cleaning brewers.
5. Document work, including verification of calls, invoice completion, asset verification, and customer documentation.
6. Repair and refurbish equipment in the Market Center; maintain spare parts inventory.
7. Accurately record work completed using company-provided mobile devices.
8. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to uphold the company's image.
9. Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities, including emergency calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations.
10. Keep the service area and vehicle clean and organized.
11. Operate vehicles safely following company guidelines.
12. Complete weekly Driver Reports and adhere to fleet policies.
13. Follow all safety standards and policies set by manufacturers and the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of repairing small electrical appliances.
• Willingness to learn connections to water sources, lines, and drainage.
• Interest in working with copper, braided, and PEX lines, typically developed through 6 months to 1 year of experience or vocational training.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
