Job description

APS Building Services is seeking an HVAC Technician with Chiller experience. The HVAC/Chiller Technician will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by taking ownership and providing accurate and timely service, repair, and replacement of all types of HVAC equipment in the commercial/industrial HVAC market. The technician will be dispatched directly from their home to the work site and will work with minimal supervision. Overtime is available.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on centrifugal chillers.
• Service Carrier, Trane, York, and Daikin centrifugal chillers.
• Respond promptly to service requests following company procedures.
• Complete reports and data for invoicing daily.
• Use tools and equipment safely, wearing proper PPE.
• Diagnose issues with cooling towers and related HVAC equipment to determine repair or replacement strategies.
• Work effectively alone and in teams to complete repairs safely and accurately.
• Communicate clearly with customers and management regarding job status and repair strategies.
• Check work for errors and defects, correcting them as needed.
• Maintain technical knowledge of cooling towers and HVAC equipment.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• HVAC: 3 years of experience
• Chiller: 5 years of experience
