Job summary

Subaru of Glendale is seeking an experienced Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction. You will perform routine maintenance, communicate with customers, and document all work in a fast-paced dealership setting.

Responsibilities include testing systems with diagnostic tools, adhering to manufacturer guidelines, and performing warranty work as required. ASE certification and 5+ years of experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience required.
• ASE Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to diagnose and repair multiple vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
• Determine vehicle issues based on customer descriptions and inspections.
• Communicate with customers regarding repairs and maintenance needed.
• Document all work performed and parts used.
• Adhere to dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical and HVAC.
• Communicate with Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional services.
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
