Position Summary

• The Commercial Kitchen Service Technician reports to the Sr. Service Manager
• Located in Florida
• Full-Time

TriMark is expanding its service team! Our Senior Service Technician provides advanced service, repair, and installation of foodservice equipment. This role requires technical expertise, leadership, and mentoring skills. The position offers incentives, door-to-door pay, and tuition reimbursement for certifications to support career growth.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Advanced Service and Repair: Perform complex equipment installations, on-site repairs, troubleshooting, and manage inventory.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior technicians.
• Safety and Compliance: Lead safety initiatives, conduct safety device surveys, and ensure equipment is tested and adjusted per manufacturer settings.
• Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory and tools on the service vehicle.
• Communication and Reporting: Collaborate with manufacturers, sales reps, and customers; provide detailed service reports.
• Customer Interaction: Deliver professional service, build customer relationships.
• Leadership and Training: Assist in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex issues, seek higher-level support when needed.
• Documentation: Interpret manuals, maintain accurate records.

Competencies

• Strong communication, leadership, troubleshooting, and multitasking skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2-3 years hands-on experience in commercial foodservice equipment repair or equivalent military/practical experience.
• Technical/trade school certification preferred, with at least two years in commercial refrigeration.
• Advanced computer skills, valid driver’s license, ability to pass background check.

Physical Requirements

• Lift 75 pounds, bend, twist, handle objects, stand long periods, kneel, crouch, crawl.
