Job summary

Morgan Properties in Largo, MD is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot HVAC, appliance, electrical and plumbing issues across our apartment communities.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call rotation. Base pay is $26.00 to $28.00 per hour, plus benefits including rent discounts, a 401(k) match, medical/dental/vision and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience.
• Active driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• HVAC, EPA or CFC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff about repairs and updates

Morgan Properties is hiring an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot HVAC, appliance, electrical and plumbing needs at our communitis in Largo, MD.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role with on call rotation required. You'll keep our apartment community up to company standards and code and help create a welcoming home where residents feel valued and supported. You'll work with a respectful, collaborative team, and we invest in your growth with training and a clear path to advance.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff about repairs and updates

Pay and Benefits

• Base pay: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
• Up to 50% rent discount
• Property staff shared renewal commissions

• On-call appreciation: $15 per day for holding the on-call phone
