Senior Service & Repair Technician

Responsibilities

1. Perform receiving, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of 3M/Scott Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and Breathing Air Systems.
2. Resolve complex technical problems using nonstandard service techniques.
3. Ensure equipment is returned to the user operating correctly and to factory standards in a timely manner.
4. Monitor customer feedback to maintain satisfaction and strengthen business relationships.
5. Serve as a technical liaison among various stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
6. Provide technical support and account management for assigned territories or customers.
7. Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers, including fire department personnel.
8. Provide user training and support before and after system turnover.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• Five (5) years of experience in high-pressure air-supplied systems.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a Mechanical or Technical discipline.
• Eight (8) years of related experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and air tools.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Physical ability to lift items over 25 lbs.
