Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Lead, Engineering Services Quality Architecture to oversee service quality across ES. You will promote a no-fail architecture, maintain a Playbook, define CTQ elements, and govern KPI dashboards for ongoing improvements.

You will also drive forecasting, issue-resolution processes, and identify new for-fee service opportunities while collaborating with stakeholders at all levels. Strong data skills and fiber optics background are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Business or Engineering with 5+ years in telecom/data center industry.
• 5+ supervisory/project management experience with limited oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Promote a No-Fail Service Quality Architecture within Engineering Services.
• Maintain ES Service Quality Architecture Playbook and ensure adherence.
• Define and update Critical-to-Quality elements for ES services.
• Identify metrics/KPIs and maintain scorecards for ES services.
• Report monthly on SQA activities and scorecards.
• Develop forecasting models related to ES SQA.
• Align ES groups to robust field issue processes for faster resolution.
• Drive quality improvements in deployment, installation and repair processes.
• Pursue continuous improvement using DMAIC/LEAN tools.
• Identify opportunities for new for-fee services.
• Advise ES Leadership on quality tools and methods.
