Job summary

Bottom Line Equipment is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the yard, shop and field service operations. You will lead a skilled team, coordinate repairs, manage budgets, and ensure safety compliance while maintaining high levels of customer service at BLE service centers.

You will drive department efficiency, organize work orders, and collaborate with customers and vendors to uphold BLE standards and profitability. Texas-based, on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment management.
• Proficient in Wynne System and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the Service Department at assigned location.
• Oversee prioritization of work orders for Field Technicians, Shop Mechanics and Helpers.
• Lead service department engagement with customers, BLE personnel, vendors and manufacturers.
• Monitor utilization of heavy equipment to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Maintain equipment ready line and total downtime at or below 10%.
• Structure yard by unit/attachment status and ensure orderly operations.
• Manage time for service personnel and internal audits.
• Lead meetings and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
