Job summary

A nationwide manufacturer of commercial machinery is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to join their team in Union, New Jersey. The successful candidate will provide installation and support of food processing equipment, manage repairs, and conduct testing while traveling to customer sites globally. A strong background in mechanical or electrical maintenance, alongside an AS degree in a relevant field, is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Two or more years mechanical or electrical maintenance experience in the Industrial food industry.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites globally for equipment installation and support.
• Manage onsite repair, maintenance, and testing of machinery.
• Lead customer trials and document product testing.

Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of commercial machinery, has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Service Engineer, to join our winning team in Union.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Travel to customer sites around the globe.
• Provide install and system startup support of food processing equipment.
• Work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.
• Manage onsite repair, maintenance, and testing.
• Troubleshooting of PLC based machinery operations.
• Use of industrial electrical prints.
• Product testing and documentation.
• Lead customer trials, PDI’s and SAT’s.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• AS degree in Industrial Maintenance or Electrical Controls.
• Two or more years mechanical or electrical maintenance experience in the Industrial food industry.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints.
• Understanding of RSLogix 500 and 5000
