Senior Service Engineer

Our core competencies include drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), safety and toxicology, bioanalytical services, chemistry and manufacturing controls for drug development, and core laboratory services for clinical trials.

Job Description

The Senior Service Engineer is responsible for providing high-level technical support, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting for metrology equipment in our Exton location. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex service operations.

Support Responsibilities:

1. Perform installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of metrology equipment.
2. Document all service activities, including calibration reports, service records, and troubleshooting steps.
3. Create and maintain technical documentation ensuring procedures meet quality standards.
4. Coordinate with suppliers, improve methods, and introduce new equipment.
5. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, metrology, or related field with 5+ years of experience; M.S. preferred.
• Knowledge of Hamilton, INTEGRA, LynX, Tecan, Tomtec systems.
• Strong background in calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of metrology equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of metrology principles and measurement standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in data recording and analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS).
• Ability to work the 9am to 5:30pm shift, M-F, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
