SMS Data Products Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Service Desk Technician to support the CCSD Security team at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.

The role focuses on maintaining secure communications, providing remote and onsite IT support, and configuring standard hardware/software images. This temporary project-based position requires 5-8 years of service desk experience, strong Windows/AD skills, and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

5-8 years of directly related experience in Service Desk roles.
Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Active Directory.
Experience supporting classified networks (JWICS/NIPRNet/SIPRNet) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, certs, or work experience.
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required; sponsorship for TS/SCI possible for selected candidate.

Responsibilities

Provide customer interface and support requirements across workstations, apps, and collaboration tools.
Manage service requests, ticketing, and incident escalation.
Perform remote desktop management and user device builds per standard images.
Support moves, adds, and changes (MAB) for devices and services.
Maintain security posture and STIG compliance for systems and networks.
Assist with information systems across JWICS, NIPRNet, SIPRNet, NSANet, and Tier networks.
