Job summary

Grid Dynamics, a leading technology services provider, is seeking a Senior Service Designer to place users at the heart of the solution. You will create journey maps and service blueprints, lead design efforts, and elevate standards within engineering workflows.

Job description

We seek a Senior Service Designer with proven experience in creating outstanding user-centered experiences and a demonstrated ability to empathize with users. You’ll provide journey maps and service blueprints putting the user at the heart of the solution, leading our design efforts and promoting cultural change across the organization. You’ll need to manage stakeholder relationships and their needs, manage the overall user journey and elevate design standards and frameworks into the engineering team’s workflows.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Figma and other design tools to craft intuitive wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups that champion user-centered design principles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders through design thinking workshops and prototyping to translate complex business requirements into elegant, user-friendly solutions.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to ensure our designs and technical implementation meet the needs of our users.
• Confidently articulate and present design concepts, strategies, and user feedback to stakeholders at all levels.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in service design and financial services.
• Introduce innovative solutions that drive business growth and user satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Designer demonstrating your ability to drive business outcomes through innovative design solutions with development teams and stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in creating journey maps and service blueprints that connect large and sometimes ambiguous requirements into a cohesive narrative of our personas.
• Strong understanding of Figma for creating clickable prototypes and running in-person and remote workshops, presenting and reporting outcomes through analytic tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management and capable of conveying complex design concepts to diverse audiences, from technical experts to senior leadership.
• Experienced in navigating and networking across an enterprise utilizing internal and external resources.
• Bachelor’s Degree in UX Design or similar major

• Preferable experience with CSS/HTML, Figma Make, and Claude.
